P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently looking for a Service Co-Ordinator on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate workshop and field service activities.
  • Schedule engineers, technicians and subcontractors to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor resource availability and maximise utilisation.
  • Coordinate emergency breakdown call-outs and ensure service activities are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for service customers, processing enquiries and providing regular updates.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication.
  • Raise and manage service jobs within the ERP system.
  • Prepare work packs, engineer documentation and process service reports.
  • Maintain accurate service records, customer information and job documentation.
  • Liaise daily with Service Engineers, Workshop Supervisors, Stores and the Sales Team.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and site access for engineers where required.
  • Prepare quotations and invoices for routine service work.
  • Monitor purchase orders, customer approvals and service costs against quotations.
  • Support warranty administration and ensure completed work is invoiced promptly.
  • Ensure service activities comply with company procedures and QHSE requirements.
  • Verify engineer training and certification records before mobilisation.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve service planning, administration and customer service standards.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a Service Co-ordinator, Service Administrator or similar engineering support role.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a workshop, engineering or service environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using ERP or service management systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think proactively.
  • Understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • 08:00 – 16:30 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
