Warehouse Shift Leader

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Leader to work on a full-time permanent basis in Great Yarmouth.

Role Summary:

Working in a clean manufacturing environment where the highest quality standards are observed, you will be leading the warehouse shift team. To ensure the warehouse operations meet quality requirements and achieve the plans and ensure the shifts complies with company expectations including health and safety and GMP compliance

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure the shift performs efficiently and effectively to meet needs of internal and external customers.
• Report daily on shift productivity and identify and assist continuous improvement and lean projects within department.
• Responsible for OTIF delivery of components and materials to the site and finished products to P&S an raising appropriate QIs for delivery issues.
• Ensure the running of the warehouse is compliant with the relevant regulations and shift compliance with the QMS.
• Ensure all logbooks are maintained and reviewed periodically.
• Maintain agreed standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Always work efficiently to current cost standards.
• Prevent loss of time and maintain good timekeeping.
• Avoid waste and identify and prevent where possible.
• Suggest methods for continuous improvement.
• Work as a member of a team both within warehouse department and site.
• Support team with appropriate training, coaching and reviews.

Working Hours and Benefits:

• This will be a full-time permanent position, shift work
• Week one: Monday to Thursday 6:00-14:00, Friday 6:00-13:00
• Week two: Monday to Thursday 13:45-10:00, Friday 12:45-18:45
• Competitive salary, salary reviewed annually with an annual bonus payable in May depending on Company performance
