Job description
P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a stores-person to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receipt & dispatch of goods in the warehouse (Including some driving & FLT driving)
• Coordinate and carry out office tasks including: checking stock levels, booking in goods and shipping orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as directed by supervisor or Manager
Person Specification:
• 3 years previous experience in a warehouse, storeman, or similar role is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Valid forklift license with proven experience operating forklifts safely.
• Full UK driving license with a clean driving record (for van driving).
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Comfortable with standing, bending, and manual handling tasks throughout the day.
Working Hours & Benefits:
• Monday – Friday
• Full-time
• 25 days holiday per year (Jan-Dec)
