P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking and Project & Proposal Engineer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

  • The Project & Proposal Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
  • Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes for received enquiries and ensure they are in line with the customers’ requirements and PPS profit expectations.
  • Prepare, plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
  • Produce detailed technical work instructions, drawings and designs.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes DNV, CE, API, ATEX etc.
  • QA policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with Engineering / Project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Project Manage Projects that are assigned to you from start to finish.

Person Specification:

  • 3 Years’ Experience in an Engineering Role.
  • HNC/HND or Equivalent Experience.
  • Highly organised planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A systematic organised approach to work is vital.
  • Strong Technically, prioritising and delegation, are required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good Customer and Supplier Communication.
  • Must be flexible working on multiple jobs and meet deadlines.

Working Hours:

  • Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm and Friday: 8am-4 pm
