P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Production Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary:
Due to continued growth our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:
Manufacturing and testing electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies.
Comprehending electrical wiring diagrams.
Following company build and test procedures.
Assembly of systems, sub-components and panel wiring.
Utilising Oscilloscopes and other electronics test equipment.
Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
Testing, fault finding and repairing basic Printed Circuit Boards to component level.
Assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding modules at system level.
Assembly and inspection of underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
Generation of technical reports on faulty & damaged items.
Undertaking light mechanical assembly.
Ability to work safely and organised in a production environment.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role essential.
Ability to work safely and organised in a production environment.
Willingness to develop practical and technical skills.
Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
Have sufficient working knowledge of PC/IT based systems: MS Office, supplier websites, HyperTerminal etc.
Ability to work as an individual on systems and sub-assemblies.

Working hours:
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (In busy period, these hours may change)
