P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients who are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for Children and Young People to join their team based in Chelmsford on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring it meets Ofsted standards and delivers a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where children and young people can thrive.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and develop a skilled and dedicated care team
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with young people, families, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement
  • Promote a child-centred, therapeutic approach to care

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
