Job description

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Site Operative/ Weighbridge Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Great Yarmouth.

Training will be provided and all RAMS on site must be adhered to at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

Working closely with the site leader on a daily basis.
Working in a safe and responsible manner ensuring all incidents and near misses are reported promptly on site and reported back to the site leader.
Checking in with site leader to understand start and finish times for each day/week.
Create and produce products with the formulation cards given.
Test and report findings of products created during production.
Drive plant/machinery on site.
Be able to connect hoses to third party wagons and load products in a safe manner.
Be able to work in confined spaces (when required, full training given).
Be able to work at height, climbing ladders (when required).
Learn and understand how to weigh and dispatch a lorry on the weighbridges on site.
Work in an outdoor environment in all seasons.
Weekend working during season to stock up on products for customers (overtime will be paid).
Working with the operations manager and marine superintendent to ensure the safe discharge of vessels into the terminal.
Working shifts to make sure the vessels get completed.
Be willing to travel to sister site when needed for work on larger vessels.
Help immobilise pipework and de rig after vessel is finished.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday.
In peak season 07:00 – 17:00 and out of season 08:00 – 16:00.
Flexibility during working hours.
