P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Production Forklift Driver to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, temporary basis until mid April.
The role will be combination of forklift driving, working on the production packing plant and general housekeeping / warehouse cleaning duties.
Operation of forklift to carry IBCs from production line to storage area, including building stacks.
Operation of forklift to load lorries with IBCs from storage area.
Using packing plant to fill IBCs with fertiliser, ensuring the correct bags are selected and the bags are filled in accordance with company policies.
Bags to be correctly labelled and sealed.
Carry out daily inspections and pre-use checks on mobile and fixed plant.
Assist with preventative maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the loading shovel.
Assist with the daily upkeep of the work area and the general housekeeping of the whole site to combat build-up of product residues and to prevent cross contamination of raw materials.
To have the ability to assist in any of the other production roles within the factory when required by site management.
To carry out all duties and tasks prescribes in an efficient and professional manner.
To comply with all legislation, guidance, company procedures and site rules.
You MUST hold your Forklift License and forklift driving experience.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 6:00 – 18:00
There is a night shift available: Sunday – Thursday 18:00 – 6:00
40 hours per week – any additional hours will be paid at time and a half.
Night shift premium: Time and a third
Working hours are Monday to Friday
