P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently recruiting an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

With a strong emphasis on customer service, you will be responsible for coordinating sales and customer service teams, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Working with the team your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, maximising customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments to streamline processes, resolve customer issues, and continuously improve the overall sales performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the team of sales and customer service teams, working with the sales manager setting performance targets, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and performance evaluations to align team members with company goals and foster continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with the sales manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, focusing on customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyse data, and generate reports to track progress towards sales goals, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Cost Analysis and Estimation: Hands on involvement with all aspects of costings
  • Identify opportunities to optimise costs without compromising product quality or performance.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in key account management.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in using IT software.
  • Analytical results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Manufacturing industry experience an advantage.
