Oh what a night - P&S triumphs (yet again!) at the Norfolk Recruitment Awards 2010 which took place on Friday, 12 November 2010 at the Holiday Inn Norwich.
Our already overflowing cabinet now has the following additions:
- Most Inspirational Leader - Sharon O'Mahony (Winner)
- Best Recruitment Consultant (Industrial) - Steve Brown (Winner)
- Best Recruitment Consultant (Specialist) - Nina Murphy (Finalist)
- Best Team Award - P&S Personnel (Finalist)
Sharon O'Mahony scooped the award for Most Inspirational Leader. This award was aimed at anyone who leads and manages a team The Judges were looking for a leader who provides direction and purpose, who creates opportunities for others to grow and develop and someone who grants autonomy and strives for excellence by setting high standards in the workplace. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be consistent and realistic whilst creating a sense of fun in the workplace. This person must have credibility within their business, must act as a role model to their peers and their team and must regularly demonstrate the ability to create a vision and inspire others to realise it. All boxes ticked by Sharon!
Steve Brown was the winner of the award for Best Recruitment Consultant (Industrial). This Award was aimed at a Recruitment Consultant working within the Industrial sector, who can demonstrate a cutting edge image together with in-depth industry knowledge. The Judges were looking for a Recruitment Consultant who consistently performs above Consultant peers, shows good client and temp retention and growth and has proven to be an asset to the recruitment industry in general. All criteria met by Steve!
Nina Murphy was a Finalist in the Award for Best Recruitment Consultant (Specialist). This Award is aimed at a Recruitment Consultant working within a specialist sector of business, such as IT/HR/management/commercial, who can demonstrate a cutting edge image together with in-depth industry knowledge. The Judges were looking for a Recruitment Consultant who consistently performs above Consultant peers, shows good client and temp retention and growth and has proven to be an asset to the recruitment industry in general.
P&S Personnel were a Finalist in the Award for Best Team which was really wonderful as we had been the Winners in 2009. This most coveted Award is aimed at teams which have energy and passion, clarity on individual and team contributions and a healthy competitive edge to make them a truly outstanding team. The Judges were looking for a team that is consistent in achieving its goals and continually striving to take their business forward. A team that demonstrates its strength by working together through either good or bad times. The size of the team is not important but how they work together and integrate is.
Winning these awards was a dream come true for the P&S Team and both Sharon & Paul are thrilled with the recognition.
