P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently recruiting for a Mechanic to join their team on a full time permanent basis, based in Great Yarmouth.

Job Summary:
• When the Vessel is operational and on location, work as an Operator alongside other crew members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• To provide maintenance of equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, service, tuning, disassembly and assembly of high pressure units and stimulation equipment and ensuring that maintenance records are maintained.
• Also required to ensure that all preventative maintenance routines are carried out and that the maintenance computer is updated as necessary, reporting all faults to Vessel Stimulation Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
• The maintenance of well stimulation equipment.
• Works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor at all times.
• Maximising availability of well stimulation plant and equipment to ensure safety and security of production.
• Responding to emergencies as directed by the Vessel Stimulation Supervisor.
• Minimising the costs directly attributable to well stimulation maintenance and repair without compromising health and safety.
• Maintaining equipment as required in the TM Master Maintenance system.
• Produce records for maintenance and repairs carried out and update TM Master Maintenance system.
• Completing job cards for the above and entering details into the TM Master Maintenance system.
• Operation of other types of equipment onboard as designated by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensures the Stimulation equipment is working at its full potential and kept clean and painted.
• Perform to the Quality Standards set by the Company.
• Assist with loading and off-loading operations as detailed by Vessel Stimulation Supervisor.
• Responsible for maintenance of all Well Stimulation equipment including but not limited to high pressure pumps, diesel engines, generators, centrifugal pumps, blenders, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Monitoring equipment during treatments and maintaining pumps etc. after treatments.
• When the Vessel is operational and on location, work as an Operator alongside other crew members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Actively ensure that his / her own health and safety and the health and the safety of fellow workers is preserved at all times.
• Ensures full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company / customer HSEQ handbooks, HSEQ procedures and emergency procedures.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.
• Undertake training as required by the Company Training and Competency System.
Person Specification:
• Qualified to SVQ or NVQ level 3 in a mechanical discipline or time served with trade papers.
• Dedicated and a desire to ensure that work is completed to the highest standard.
• Organised.
• Qualifications and experience in maintaining diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic units.
• Leadership and Personnel Management Skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
