P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently recruiting for a Junior Stimulation Engineer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.

Summary:
• The output of material, job reports, chemical reconciliations and reporting.
• The development of acid and proppant stimulation job design with an aim to gain competency in stimulation design.
• Spending time on the Island Patriot in the Port of Esbjerg as well as when operational.
• Research and Development

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• The development of acid and proppant stimulation job design with an aim to gain competency in stimulation design.
• Laboratory testing as well as the maintenance and testing of equipment and procedures.
• The output of material related to QA/QC, job reports, chemical reconciliations and reporting, and other processes and documents as required from time-to-time.
• Producing and submitting comprehensive laboratory reports.
• Research and Development.
• Maintenance of chemicals for stimulation operations and maintaining SDS, COSHH and other related data sheets.
• Real time QAQC testing on stimulation jobs.
• Spending some time on the Island Patriot in the Port of Esbjerg.
• Assist The Engineering Manager in the preparation and submission of Stimulation Service Tickets to Clients.
• Travel offshore to perform stimulation work on board the Vessel (when required).
• Undertake training as required by the Company Training and Competency System.

Person Specification:
• Competent with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Minimum of a BSc degree (2:2 or above) in an engineering discipline.
• Flexible and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Excellent spoken / written English skills.
• Team player but be able to use their own initiative.
• Have a high level of personal motivation.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Consistently able to work under pressure and unsupervised.
• Proactive Approach.
• Working with Others / Teamwork.
• Effective Communication and Impact.
• Problem Solving, Judgment & Decision Making.
Desirable:
• Previous experience working within a laboratory environment is preferred, but not essential.
