P&S Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and talented developer where you will be joining a team that is responsible for development of core data-providing components and calculation engines, from specification and design through to integration with in-house desktop and web-browser user interfaces.
You will work as a developer, designing and implementing solutions to modelling problems. This can include customer facing work in design and specification, as well as involvement in business consulting and ongoing support so the ability to converse at all levels is imperative.
Clearly you will need strong mathematical and programming skills and be able to explain clearly how my clients mathematical models work.
This role is open to applicants direct from university courses as well as applicants with commercial experience.
Essential
- Strong programming ability
- Programming experience in C++, although candidates with an outstanding background in another object-oriented language may be considered
- Strong mathematical ability
- Strong numerical analysis skills
Desirable
- Statistical modelling & data analysis experience
- Optimisation experience
- Research experience
- Microsoft Windows development experience
