P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team based in Norwich, Norfolk.

Managing and Engineering Development of Projects that will include:
• Project engineering including commercial awareness and project cost control
• Planning of project activities including the creation and delivery of project work plans with revision as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Working with the client to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects
• Preparation of agreed project documentation
• Preparation of project status reports to clients and company management
• Liaison with vendors and suppliers
• Attendance at client’s sites for customer support
• Producing detailed designs for automation / control systems
• Interface with client’s representatives to develop designs
• Management of projects to ensure software / hardware being developed by other engineers is functionally correct and conforms to company / customer standards and legislation
• Ensuring full compliance with the Company’s QA standards in all relevant reporting, documentation, record-keeping and procedures
• Ensuring that project specific task targets are met with respect to both timeliness and cost
• Updating / reviewing cost to complete documentation
• Taking an active role in the support of sales activities with the preparation of technical proposals and direct client contact as appropriate

• PC literate with experience of Word, Excel and databases
• Ability to travel to clients sites as necessary
• You are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner compatible with the goals and aims of the company position
• Have a positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills both with external and internal customers
• Competence in project planning methodology
• Be able to plan and organise efficiently and effectively
• Have a strong delivery performance
