P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth.
The role is responsible for providing support to the site at all levels to satisfy all current Health & Safety legislation and to help promote a good Health & Safety culture on site.
The successful applicant will ensure all documentation is compliant with relevant Health & Safety and GMP requirements, following GMP at all times and identifying improvements where possible at group and local level. In addition, the individual will; provide site inductions, report accidents and incidents, following up on investigations, identifying any potential hazards and corrective actions to be taken and provide advice and support on key regulations such as COSHH, PUWER, and DSEAR. They will also be required to be an active member of the Group H&S forum.
It is essential to have a minimum of two/three years relevant HSE experience in a manufacturing environment in which GMP is practised and a relevant H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH. Knowledge of chemical regulations is desirable. Good interpersonal and written skills are also essential.
Monday to Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm
