P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, a leading engineering business working within the oil and gas, marine, power and construction industries, who are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join their team on an initial temporary contract based in Great Yarmouth, with a potential to lead to a permanent position.

You will be assisting with the design, drawings, calculations and general arrangements of diesel driven products. This represents a great opportunity for a design engineer with a proven track record in this or a similar sector.

Experience of diesel driven products and design is preferred and knowledge of DNV lifting frames, their associated compliance and design features would be advantageous.

You will need strong communication skills to manage the client relationship, liaise with colleagues in the business and the production team.

• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Qualified and Competent using 3Dsolidworks and CAD Design
• Familiar with DNV type approved lifting frames
• Suitably trained with appropriate mechanical engineering qualifications/experience

Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with diesel driven equipment normally used in the oil industry and DNV/ Lloyds approved lifting frame designs.

We may consider a candidate with CAD experience as opposed to the preferred of 3D Solidworks.

Initially for a short term contract but this may lead to a permanent position.

Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4pm Friday.
