Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, a manufacturer of
cleaning products, who are currently seeking Batch Makers to join their production
team on an ongoing temporary contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        
Effectively observes H&S
rules and procedures

·        
Ensure all relevant PPE is
available prior to commencing Batch-making duties

·        
To use and wear the
appropriate PPE when required to prevent the risk of injury or product
contamination

·        
Ensure all relevant equipment
is safe for use prior to machine start-up

·        
Reports faults to peers to
encourage speedy resolution.

·        
Taking bulk deliveries of
Chemicals

·        
Blending/mixing of raw
material to create finished product; following formulation specification

·        
Operating to a high degree of
Health and Safety and good Housekeeping standard

·        
To adhere to Standard
Operating Procedures and safe systems of work adhering to all safety
guidelines.

·        
Keeps workplace and equipment
clean and tidy

·        
Delivers quality and accuracy
in own work

·        
Able to cope under pressure
and flex with peaks in personal workload.

·        
Liaise with other functional
areas (i.e. QA, Engineering and Warehouse) when required to aid in maximising
the efficiency of the production process.

·        
Able to act on decisions with
the corresponding level of urgency.

·        
To control and record
detailed data collection using relevant paperwork as required.

·        
To take part in EH&S and
GMP audits as directed by Area Leaders.

·        
To notify Quality assurance
and the Area Leaders of any deviations from the process that will require
atypical events and PSRs raised.

·        
To exercise an appropriate
degree of due care and attention when using and handling hazardous materials or
chemicals.

·        
To encourage a clean and safe
working environment, adopting a Clean as you Go mentality.

·        
To be aware of COSHH
requirements and risk assessments for new activities and operations in the
area.

·        
Represent the department
during any customer visits or audits in a professional manner.

·         
Due to the nature of the
role, must have a flexible approach to break times

·         
Carry out any work as may be
reasonably required by product
